Moschino’s eagerly anticipated collection with H&M is almost upon us. News of the collaboration came in April during an Instagram live call from Gigi Hadid to Jeremy Scott, Moschino’s creative director. The duo were both dressed in pieces from the impeding collection, giving us the first look at what we can expect from the designs.

Speaking ahead of the launch, Jeremy Scott said: “I am so excited by MOSCHINO [tv] H&M. My life’s work has been to connect with people through fashion, and with this collaboration I’ll be able to reach more of my fans than I’ve ever had the ability to do.”
The collection features silver, gold and sparkly fabrics, contrasting with neutral colours, and will allow customers to buy Scott’s designs at a more reasonable price point.

On October 6, the two brands took to Instagram, releasing the first photos of the ad campaign. Photographed by Steven Meisel, the set took inspiration from the 1950s. Styled by Carylne Cerf de Dudzeele, with hair and makeup from Guido Palau and Pat McGrath, the campaign featured Gigi Hadid, Imaan Hammam, Stella Maxwell, Soo Joo and Vittoria Ceretti.

Ann-Sofie Johansson, H&M’s Creative Advisor, spoke about the partnership, calling it “the perfect collaboration for fashion right now”, before adding “Jeremy Scott is amazing – he knows how to have fun with fashion, and to connect with his fans around the world.”
Mixing pop, street culture, logos and glamour, we can’t wait to see more from the collection. As with previous H&M collabs, such as the recent Morris & Co. line, the latest H&M x Moschino pieces are expected to sell out fast, so act hastily on Nov 8!
