We chatted to the rising popstar about his international ambition, personality, The voice and more…

Tell us a little about yourself…

I am a 17, from Southampton, with the ambition to become an international popstar! Music has been a part of me since I was a kid – I come from a musical family, and have always been around it – singing and dancing from as early as I can remember. I’ve been lucky enough to get the chance to pursue it as a career now, getting involved with writing and producing my music – and amazing way to communicate with fans. I like football, and keeping fit – but music first and foremost is everything to me!

How did your experience on The Voice impact your musical career?

Being on the voice catapulted me to a whole new world which came with great opportunities which I’m forever grateful for! It was almost like a crash course into the music industry, and since then I’ve had the opportunity to travel to China , South Africa and even to perform for the queen after being asked personally by Prince Harry! The Voice has given me a platform to be seen by millions of people, and a record deal and team around me. I’m fully prepared to run with that opportunity take my career in music as far as I can!

What is something you can’t live without?

I cannot live without social media! It’s a blessing and a curse, as it’s definitely addictive, but also an incredible tool to be able to connect with fans on a daily basis!

What are you most looking forward to in 2019?

I am most looking forward to releasing more music. I worked hard at the end of last year and beginning of this year writing and working in the studio on my music, so I’m excited to get to release more of it this year so people can hear what I’ve been working on! I’ll also continue to prove myself in the music industry as it’s where I want to be!

Who is your musical inspiration?

There are several artists that I’ve been influenced by, and even more that I admire – but I’d have to say that my musical inspiration is Usher!

How would you describe your personality?

I would describe my personality as fun , very active … and comical. I love to crack a good joke here and there!

What do you hope fans take away from your music?

I hope my fans take away joy and excitement from my music! I’m not an artist that is going to stand still and sing sad love songs – I like singing uplifting, upbeat and fun music.
