Kyd the BandGo There

Kyd the Band returns with new single ‘Go There’ and this one is a tear jerker y’all. A chillingly emotional ballad that asks the questions that really matter in a relationship, his lyrics tell the story of someone longing for acceptance of not only the beauty in a relationship, but of the darker parts and imperfections as well.

Mirei – Lonely in Tokyo

Mirei reveals the official video for ‘Lonely In Tokyo’ fresh off the back of her English-language debut and full-length album Take Me Away which dropped last week. ‘Lonely In Tokyo’ serves as part two to the story she began telling in her ‘Take Me Away’ video . She says, “There’s a light side and a shadow side to Tokyo, and I’ve seen a lot of the shadow. I wanted to write songs that let people all around the world know about both sides.”

Christian Lopez – Sip of Mine

Critically acclaimed singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Christian Lopez returns to the scene with ‘Sip of Mine’ – his first single in almost 3 years. The track marks a new beginning for the 24-year old rising act who recently moved to Los Angeles and waved goodbye to his Nashville/Music City stomping ground. Having made his debut at only 19 years old (Onward) and launching his sophomore release at 21 (Red Arrow) via Blaster Records, Christian now has his eyes set on the future as an independent pop artist.

Niall Horan – No Judgement

One Direction alum Niall Horan has dropped a new single ‘No Judgement’, along with a highly colorful music video where he humorously watches an elderly couple in love. The fun, upbeat love song shows plenty of promise for his upcoming album ‘Heartbreak Weather’ which is set to release March 13.

American recording artist KennyHoopla defies genre with his newly-released single. Hoopla has a small discography so far, but shows plenty of promise with his new track, which flawlessly pulls together R&B and alternative rock. His brand of ‘new wave nostalgia’ and lack of fear in experimenting with new sounds on each song make him one to watch.

Callum Beattie Talk About Love

Even though Callum Beattie’s last EP was released in 2017, he’s been hard at work writing songs and releasing singles. Now, the Scottish artist is back with his first release of 2020, a feel-good song about gaining the courage to open up to your significant other. The acoustic singer-songwriter is getting ready to take his songs on the road with a tour beginning in Manchester this March.

Jehnny BethFlower

Jehnny Beth has already made a name for herself as a part of lo-fi duo John & Jehn, as well as fronting the rock band Savages. Now, she’s ventured out as a solo artist with an album in the works. She’s given us a taste of what’s to come with new single ‘Flower’, a dark, hypnotic track that masterfully combines her background in post-punk and lo-fi into something new and thrilling to listen to.

Indian QueensBubblewrap

Sister-duo Indian Queens came in hot to 2020 with a performance at Rockaway Beach Festival and the release of ‘Bubblewrap’. This track combines a hard, driving beat, hypnotic vocals, and a powerful message on environmental issues. The accompanying music video is haunting and dark, with visuals of people being wrapped in suffocating-looking plastic.

Sofi Tukker Feeling Good

Pop duo Sofi Tukker shows their talent for making hits with their new song on the star-studded soundtrack ‘Birds of Prey: The Album’. They certainly hold their own among musical powerhouses like Halsey and Doja Cat, and it’s a perfect addition to your workout playlist.

Anne-Marie Birthday

As if we needed to be reminded of Anne-Marie’s talent for putting out hits–her new single ‘Birthday’ has all the makings of one. The pop star celebrates herself, her friends, and getting over breakups on this upbeat new track. The feel-good single dropped with a music video, a study in pink with Anne-Marie looking glamorous and carefree. 

Khalid and DisclosureKnow Your Worth

Khalid and Disclosure have partnered up for a new track on promoting self-love and optimism. This isn’t the first time Khalid has worked with the duo: they came together to produce ‘Talk,’ one of the biggest hits of Khalid’s 2019 album ‘Free Spirit.’ ‘Know Your Worth’ shows the lyrically heartfelt touch that makes Khalid stand out. Singer-songwriter RAYE collaborates with Young Adz on her new single. The R&B artist prides herself on being open and being honest, and her new song touches on getting serious in a relationship. This song is her first release of 2020, coming on the heels of her singles ‘Please Don’t Touch’ and ‘Love Me Again’, which dropped in late 2019.

J Hus ft. Ella Mai – One and Only

Fresh off dropping his banging album ‘Big Conspiracy’, J Hus is continuing his reign in music with his new single ‘One and Only’. Featuring R&B songstress Ella Mai, the track is a beautiful blend of grime and R&B that will have you wanting to play the track on repeat all day long. With his smooth bars and Ella Mai’s honey-laced vocals ‘One and Only’ is a must for your playlist.

5SOSCalm

5 Seconds of Summer definitely take their name to heart with their track ‘No Shame,’ which will have you ready to sing along with your windows down in February! 5SOS fans will certainly be having a great week with the release of this single. Not only is it a great track, but it comes with news of their first full-length album in two years set to be released in March. The band also announced their ‘No Shame’ tour, which kicks off in Dublin this May.

RAYE All Of My Love

Singer-songwriter RAYE collaborates with Young Adz on her new single. The R&B artist prides herself on being open and being honest, and her new song touches on getting serious in a relationship. This song is her first release of 2020, coming on the heels of her singles ‘Please Don’t Touch’ and ‘Love Me Again’, which dropped in late 2019.

Pop Smoke ft. QuavoShake The Room

New York rapper Pop Smoke is bringing all the heat with his track ‘Shake The Room’. Partnering up with Quavo, the two artists exudes confidence and swag. Talking about keeping haters on their toes ‘Shake The Room’ is the perfect track to get you hyped at the gym or before a night out

It feels like 2008 again because the iconic girl group The Pussycat Dolls are back in full formation with their new track ‘React’. After a 12-year hiatus, the “Buttons” group have reunited and bringing a new era of bops for music lovers everywhere. Speaking on the song, the Norwegian songstress states, “The song is a pretty self-explanatory, cheeky little thing that celebrates the “meet and greet: phase of a (potential) relationship.”

Thyla’s new track ‘Everything’ is an absolute smash! London newcomers JL&TG are definitely on our Ones To Watch hitlist for 2020. The duo will perform at Annie Mac Presents in London on March 4th, where you will get to hear the epic ‘Goddess’ live for the first time.
