MishCatt – Pavo

Inspired by the complicated emotions involved in relationships, MishCatt’s forthcoming The Real Pavo EP explores the love story between Mishcatt and her intuition, and the highs and lows of that relationship, with the latest single ‘Pavo’ as a continued culmination of her purple period with groovy, synth-pop psychedelic sounds. “This song is about feeling that delicious rebel flow in your veins and going against society. It’s about creating your own movement, your own wave with whoever wants to join” MishCatt explains.

Chikaya – Stargazing

Bristol-based Chikaya is back with her first release of 2020. Chikaya’s talent for making dreamy, out-of-this-world tracks is on full display with this new single, although this track feels more reserved. This is a perfect mellow song for your more introspective moments.

Alfie Neale – Vices

This new Alfie Neale song is essential for this year’s Valentine’s Day playlist. His unique voice and genre-bending pop make for a beautiful building ballad. On this single, released earlier this week, Alfie sings about what he desires out of his life and relationships.

Eva-Lina – Dump Him

Billie Eilish – No Time To Die

Billie Eilish’s theme for the new James Bond film dropped, along with a new trailer, at midnight on Friday. The song is appropriately dramatic and moody for both the singer and the franchise. Towards the end of the track Billie steps out from her usual singing style to give listeners climatic vocals that showcase her range. She has since been reported to be performing ‘No Time To Die’ live for the first time at the BRIT Awards next week.

Sam Smith – To Die For 

Sam Smith announced the date of their first full-length album in three years today with the release of a new song. The album, likewise titled ‘To Die For’ is set to come out on May 1, but we’re happy they decided to bless us with this new single in the meantime! In proper Sam Smith fashion, the song perfectly encapsulates the feeling of being alone while watching the world be in love around you. The singer has incorporated some lo-fi elements into the new track, giving us an exciting taste of what to expect with the direction of their upcoming album.

Sam Fender – Hold Out

Sam Fender’s new single, ‘Hold Out’, has been in the works for a while now and, in fact, has been featured in many live shows that he’s played. The studio recording, though, is the first he’s released in 2020 and is a deceivingly upbeat track for the bittersweet lyrics.

Ant Saunders ft. Aubrey Mika – Yellow Hearts 

If you spend any time on TikTok, odds are you’ve heard ‘Yellow Hearts’ before. This sweet remix featuring fellow up-and-comer Aubrey Mika turns the song into a sweet duet that is a perfect addition to your Valentine’s Day pop playlist.

Arlo Parks – Eugene

Arlo Parks’s gorgeous vocals shine through on her new single, ‘Eugene’. The song, released with a pairing music video, navigates the minefield that occurs when your feelings for another person transform from platonic to romantic.

Tame Impala – Breath Deeper

Tame Impala is back with their first full-length album in five years. The powerhouse of psychedelic pop stays true to his sound with the track ‘Breath Deeper,’ with its synth-heavy beat and far-away sounding vocals. The whole album is a gift to us all this Valentine’s Day, but ‘Breath Deeper’ is an excellent track on believing in yourself.

Justin Bieber – Forever

Tame Impala isn’t the only one giving us an album as a Valentine’s Day treat–Justin Bieber’s ‘Changes’ also dropped today. The album is full of stellar collaborations, but this one featuring Post Malone and Clever is our personal favourite. The track lets each artist shine with a love song about loyalty and being in a relationship for the long run.

Lil Mosey – Blueberry Faygo

‘Blueberry Faygo’ is a feel good hip hop track from start to finish. From Lil Mosey bars and delivery to the hard hitting lo-fi beats this track is a must on everyone’s playlist this weekend.

Kim Petras – Remind Me

Kim Petras pulls at our heart strings with her new track ‘Remind Me‘. Detailing the aftermath of a previous relationship, the songstress sings about everything that reminds her of past lover. The trap-pop bop is perfect for anyone going through heartache this Valentines Day.

HRVY – ME BECAUSE OF YOU

HRVY’s showed up for the holiday with an absolutely classic pop love song. The happy-go-lucky song perfectly captures the feelings of finding someone that feels like your other half.

King Princess – Ohio

Stripping it down to the bare basics on her new track ‘Ohio’, rising star King Princess is continuing her 2020 music takeover. With a 90’s indie rock sound, the new track has all the elements that we love from King Princess with a retro twist. We have to stan.

Snoh Aalegra ft. Pharrell Williams – Whoa

Having brought all the R&B love feels with her 2019 track ‘Whoa’, the songstress has dropped a brand new remix with Pharrell that is must for your night with bae. The two make sweet-sweet music, with Pharrell bringing his distinct bars and metaphors and Snoh giving us her signature sultry vocals. If you’re in need of a track for your valentines playlist the ‘Woah’ remix is for you!

Alec Benjamin – Oh My God

Alec Benjamin has released another fantastic track with his record ‘Oh My God’. The new single plays with an array of sounds that are playful and classic Alec Benjamin. His harmonies are out of this world which are beautifully mixed with some introspective lyrics.

Powfu ft beabadoobee – death bed

Powfu and beabadoobee get real about life, love, and death with their new track. The mc delivers a powerful string of bars discussing hopes and dreams that we may have all thought once or twice. It’s a deep and meaningful listen that is perfect for a chilly Sunday afternoon.

Madison Beer – Selfish

‘Selfish’ is an empowering banger that everyone who’s going through a breakup should listen to. Madison opens her heart and her mind on the track, singing about the selfishness of a previous partner. Grimes – Delete Forever

Grimes is an artist that doesn’t stick to one sound or style, and her new track ‘Delete Forever’ is a perfect example of that. The new record sounds like an indie rock single at first –similar to the likes of Oasis or Courtney Love – but as it progresses, we get an array of genres, like pop, lo-fi, and electronic. With her airy vocals and unique presence we can’t help but be hypnotised by ‘Delete Forever’.

Beach Bunny – Cuffing Season

‘Cuffing Season’ is the perfect pop-punk track for our angst-filled hearts, and we are obsessed. Coming straight from their banging debut album ‘Honeymoon’, the songstress and band provide us with some quality pop-rock greatness that will be a staple for our weekend plans. Other stand out track on their album is ‘April’, ‘Colorblind’, and ‘Dream Boy’.

Tiana Blake – Cut Ties

We are lovers of some quality R&B here at Spindle, and Tiana Blake’s new track ‘Cut Ties’ fits the bill and then some. With its nostalgic noughties production and relatable lyrics, ‘Cut Ties’ will have you in your feelings thinking about that special someone. With ‘Cut Ties’ being her first single we can’t wait to see what else the South-East Londoner has in store.

Balcony – Girls

Easy Going, fun, and romantic are three ways to describe Balcony’s new track ‘Girls’. The South London band inclusive song discusses the beauties of love and the feelings of wanting to kiss that special someone.
