Kygo ft. Zak Abel Freedom

Legendary producer Kygo has teamed up with vocalist Zak Abel on the aptly titled track ‘Freedom‘. Before the current COVID-19 pandemic, the two were due to film the visual for the single on the sunny beaches in the Maldives. But with social distancing as a priority, the two made a quirky quarantine inspired video that will have you smiling from ear to ear. Listen to the single and check out the video below…

Breaking into the scene with his track ‘East Side’, Scribz Riley is creating his own lane of Hip Hop/R&B. His first single is an origin story of sorts, in which he discusses his roots and growing up in East London. Even though ‘East Side’ is his first single, this isn’t the 26-year olds first rodeo with music. Working with artists like Khalid, H.E.R., J Hus, and Cardi B Scribz Riley has already earned 2 Grammys.

Freddie Long opens up about his dark days and insecurities on his new track ‘Fade’. The heartfelt record is backed by a cinematic-production that beautifully represents the song’s message and complements Freddie’s soulful voice.

Queenie, Lioness and StushThis One

Queenie, Lioness, and Stush are serving on their new track, ‘This One.’ The three MC’s are giving fire bars on the single, which is backed by hard energy-filled production.

DJ/Producer Regard and pop songstress Raye have made a fire banger with their new collab ‘Secrets’. The sensual record has a moody sound that will have you wishing it was a summer night at the club. If you’re feeling antsy, just put this record on and dance the worries away.

Emily Burns Press Pause

Singer-songwriter Emily Burns is continuing to release amazing music with her new anthem ‘Press Pause’. Discussing the “need to take reflect”, ‘Press Pause’ is a record for the stress-filled individual thats looking for a mental escape – even its only for 3 minutes. Speaking on the record, Emily states, “I wrote ‘Press Pause’ as a kind of personal protest against the constant trail of overwhelming information that I see in the media and across socials, every day…Sometimes it all feels a bit too much, so ‘Pressing Pause’ is a metaphor for turning down all of that noise and taking a second to just think and breathe. Like switching off the news.”

Emerging songstress Taylor Janzen is doing some “self analyzation” on her fantastic single ‘Devotion’. The dreamy track touches on the complexities of relationships and finding the happy medium of loving your partner and not losing yourself in the process.

Alaina Castillo pass you by

The rising bilingual pop songstress Alaina Castillo has released her highly anticipated EP and intimate single ”pass you by”. The songstress worked closely with Sam Roman – also known as RØMANS – on the record. Speaking about the emotional track, Alaina states “It started with me talking about how I wished I could stop overthinking everything and just live in the moment, and ended up being a song that I think of on the daily because it reminds me to not get lost in everything that’s happening and to just enjoy it. I hope that it can do that for whoever listens to it.’

YUNGBLUD is his loveable angsty self on his single ‘Weird!’. The relatable record discusses the feeling of uncertainty. Speaking about the inspiration for the single, the rebellious artist states, “I wrote the song about the weirdest time in my life ever imagined. I felt like the ground beneath me was a maze that was shapeshifting, and I felt like I was going to fall down the cracks and, in my opinion, the world feels exactly like that right now. I wanted this song to make everyone feel that everything was going to be alright no matter how weird things get”.

Jake Bugg has released his emotional acoustic track ‘Saviours Of The City’. Written with his friend ONR, Jake states, “I wrote this last year with my mate Robert (ONR). It’s a song I didn’t envisage releasing this early, but it seems to resonate with what’s going on right now and makes sense of it for me in some ways.”
