Betta Lemme I’m Bored

Betta Lemme’s ‘I’m Bored’ is the isolation anthem of 2020 that almost didn’t see the light of day. Lifted from the archives, the track co-produced with Jonas Jeberg (Hayley Kiyoko, Bebe Rexha, Demi Lovato, Panic At The Disco’s ‘High Hopes’) has taken on a loaded new meaning since she initially wrote it in 2019. Backed by a brass melody, the Montreal-born artist cleverly urges everyone to stay at home and save a life in light of the novel coronavirus. She professes, “Swiping armies / Robot zombies / Posts for money / Ain’t it funny? / So while you dance all night and live your best life / I’m bored / I’m bored / I’d rather fantasize than join that ride / I’m bored / I’m bored.”

Remi Wolf Photo ID

24-year old Remi Wolf is a funky artist that’s “going off” on her new track ‘Photo ID’. Speaking on the new record, Remi states, “I produced ‘Photo ID’ with my friends John Carroll Kirby and Solomonophonic during a week that all I was listening to was Hall & Oates and Talking Heads. I was really inspired by Daryl Hall’s big melodies and the funky strangeness of David Byrne.” Remi also name-checks Billy Joel and Erykah Badu within the first seconds of the record: “Billy and Badu, I’ll follow you into any room.”

Macca WilesOutlined

Essex born artist Macca Wiles has released his third single ‘Outlined’. The trap-rock track dives deep into the mind of the 22-year-old artist. Along with the release of his new single Macca Wiles also released a new video for the record. Speaking on the creative process for the visual, Macca states, “Making the video was a difficult task; this song is personal, and I wanted the video to feel so too, so I actually edited it myself. Once I had the frames where I wanted them, I sent it off to Jori so she could source special FX and colour grading and boom, we’re here. Duncan captured some great moments, and even though it’s not the usual routine & process for shooting a music video, it came out great.”

JP CooperLittle Bit Of Love

JP Cooper knows how to create music that warms the soul. His latest track ‘Little Bit Of Love’ is a feel-good record that showcases Cooper’s insane vocals and beautiful lyrics. Speaking on the record “The song kind of says it all really… Sometimes everybody needs a little bit of love. This song has been bouncing for way over a year now and although it was definitely going to be released, I originally planned to release it later in
the year…. however, with everything going on in the world at the minute, we thought it was time to put it out. So from me to the world here’s a ‘Little Bit Of Love’”
