This song is literally me explaining me moving from Tanzania, then growing up in south London with no father figure. You have to learn from your mistakes and teach yourself how to be a man.”

If you’re looking for some feel-good R&B that will warm the soul, then peep Teyana Taylor’s new single ‘Wake Up Love’. Featuring the talented rapper Iman Nunez, the two beautiful play off each other’s talents with their sweet lyrics and unique styles. We have to stan.

Jorja Smith – Rose Rouge

Jorja Smith has dropped a jazzy new tune with ‘Rose Rouge’. The new single is part of the Decca Records and Blue Note collab project ‘Blue Note Re: imagined’. Filled with an invigorating jazz/blues sounds Jorja absolutely shines and seems 100 percent in her element. Speaking on the track, she states “Honoured to be involved on this Blue Note album to rework St Germain’s anthem ‘Rose Rouge’. And with such an array of wonderful musicians on the album, including my brothers Ezra Collective”

Young T & Bugsey ft. DaBaby – Don’t Rush

If you’re savvy to the popular app TikTok than you’ve probably heard the infectious Young T & Bugsey record ‘Don’t Rush’. The rap duo has partnered up with DaBaby for the new rendition of the record, and we are already filling our draft folders with ‘Don’t Rush’ Challenge’ videos. If you’re social distancing with friends and need a track that will instantly bring in a good mood then play this record.

Pop Smoke – Make It Rain

Pop Smoke continues to lives on with his new posthumous release ‘Make It Rain.’ The single is part of his debut record – which was just postponed to be released on July 3rd. Rowdy Rebel also steps onto the song, elevating the track to new heights. Rest in Power Pop Smoke.

KAWALA – Ticket To Ride

Fly into dreamland with KAWALA’s new track’ Ticket To Ride’. The North London band delivers a un upbeat bop that will have you wanting to escape the realities of the world, even if it’s only for three minutes and twenty seconds. Speaking on the breezy track, the band states “We wrote ‘Ticket to Ride’ simply about our desperate need for escapism. We wanted it to feel daydreamy but also use the imagery of getting on that first train out to show our pursuit for better times.”

Leon Bridges ft. Terrace Martin – Sweeter

Tom Walker – Wait For You

Tom Walker has released his first track of 2020 with ‘Wait for You’. The intimate new single is exceptionally personal which can be heard through his passionate vocals. Speaking on the record, he states “This song is about a mate of mine who went through a life-changing event as a teenager. “It took a long time for him to heal and aspects of what happened have taken a toll on his life. Fast forward to now, and he’s one of the most outgoing, positive people you could ever meet. It got me thinking that we can all go through tough times; it’s what you choose to do after that’s important. If something positive can come out of it, that’s a really special thing.”

Kojey Radical ft. Mereba – Same Boat

Kojey Radical and Mereba discuss mental health and the difficulties of life on their new track ‘Same Boat’. Two of Britain’s top artists have partnered up on their new summer anthem ‘High On Life’. The track is layered with euphoric sounds and hypnotising lyrics. Speaking on the track, the duo states “‘High On You’ lyrically is about relationships, love, meeting someone that gives you that high feeling. Just being around that particular person lifts your mood no matter what the circumstances…”

Callum Beattie – We Are Stars

Callum Beattie shares a beautiful piano version of his debut single ‘We Are Stars’ so be prepare for the tears. Along with the new version of the track he has also dropped the live video further encompassing this song’s new sound and heartfelt sound.

WANYI – All In

Berklee College of Music grad and emerging artist WANYI is continuing her debut into the scene with her atmospheric record ‘All In’. The song touches on relationship struggles and her need to “define” a relationship. ‘All In’ is an incredible track that is relatable and must-listen for anyone with dealing with dating communication issues.

Maria Rae – Walk Away

London based songstress Maria Rae wow’s on her debut single ‘Walk Away’. Working with the co-founder of Ferocious Productions Jack Gourlay, Maria taps into her emotions and gives a refreshing take on relationships and love. We can’t wait to hear more form the emerging talent.
