Ziggy Alberts is giving us a glimpse into his new era of music with his emotive single ‘heartbeat’. Diving into the topic of love, Alberts beautifully explores the complexities of relationships with his captivating storytelling. From his warm vocals to his earnest lyrics ‘heartbeat’ is a record that will leave you floating through the clouds. 

Speaking on the track, Alberts states: “‘heartbeat’ is a song about how love brings us together no matter how far we are apart.. a breakup song, turned into a story of hope and trust on a summer adventure.”

He continued: “[The song] talks about the past and present, finding resolution in the common thread of all good things – love.”

The ARIA Platinum certification holder has had quite the busy year and a half. Just last month the singer-songwriter released his ‘Truly Acoustic’ record which features new recordings of tracks from his ‘Laps Around The Sun’, ‘Made of Water‘, and ‘Land & Sea’ projects.

The Australian talent also finished a 110+ date world tour – before the start of the ongoing pandemic – and continued to gain traction on streaming services with Alberts racking in over 1 million monthly listeners on Spotify.

With his new single ‘heartbeat’ finally making the rounds, we can’t wait to see what else Ziggy has up his sleeve.
