Dolapo ft Ms Banks & Oxlade – Interest

UK RnB sensation Dolapo teams up with rising Nigerian star Oxlade, and one of the scenes hottest rappers, Ms Banks, for a fiery, boasy start to the year with ‘Interest’. Delving deeper into her Nigerian heritage and with influences taken from cultural music greats, ‘Interest’ is a fusion of Afrocentric flavour with a UK vibe.

DaBaby – Masterpiece

One of 2020’s champions DaBaby is back with his new single ‘Masterpiece’. DaBaby kicks of the year with “Masterpiece” which is accompanied with a music video, directed by Gemini, that features DaBaby engulfed in a life consumed with private jets, expensive cars, and screaming fans.

Juice WRLD & Young Thug – Bad Boy

The visual, directed by Cole Bennett and produced by Lyrical Lemonade, marks the last official music video that Juice WRLD shot before he passed away in December 2019. The visually stunning video showcases the creative chemistry between Juice and Thug while amplifying Juice’s genre-defying sound that catapulted him as a universally beloved artist.

Selena Gomez – De Una Vez

Selena releases her first Spanish language single in nearly a decade, ‘De Una Vez (‘At Once’). Selena teams up with multi-Latin Grammy®Award-winning producer Tainy [Bad  Bunny, J  Balvin] and Albert Hype, Jota Rosa and NEON16. Additionally, she enlisted the duo of Los Pérez—Tania Verduzco and Adrián Pérez— to direct the accompanying music video.

Cat & Calmell – Dramatic

Emerging Sydney-based duo Cat & Calmell are thrilled to kick off the new year with the release of their second single ‘Dramatic‘ and the accompanying video directed by Louis Brandt. Produced by WA-born talent Hauskey and mixed by Justin Hergett , the brooding new single cements Cat & Calmell as ones to watch in 2021.

Kalpee – Climb

Featuring fellow Trinibagonians Freetown Collective – ‘Climb’ was the first song Kalpee wrote after his unfortunate car accident whilst on a shoot for another music video in September 2019; writing and producing the track helped Kalpee find relief from the trauma. Not knowing at the time of the accident that the cameras were still recording – the equally poignant video shows snippets of footage from it. The visual also touches upon Freetown members, activist Muhammad’s involvement in the BLM movement and trained lawyer Lou’s experience with his diagnosed mental health. All three stories intertwine, and their raw, relatable emotions develop throughout the moving visual.

Cole LC – Grip & Slide

Cole LC drops his new single ‘Grip & Slide’ and with the visual he is able to really shows off his personality and the playful vibe of the track. It’s produced by 169 who’s behind Headie One, Dave and so many others. 

Tyler Shaw – When You’re Home

Canadian pop-royalty and multi-platinum selling artist Tyler Shaw kicks off 2021 with the beautiful new single ‘when You’re Home‘. The track features Tyler’s rich, powerful vocals pulsing with emotion as he delivers a passionate performance about the comforts of love and companionship. The track – produced by Jon Levine (Dua Lipa, Alessia Cara, Bebe Rexha, Drake), who Tyler collaborated with on the charity single “Lean on Me” via ArtistsCAN – conveys a nostalgic vibe with its retro percussion and warm slow tempo… one that will pull on all the right heartstrings.

Lou Hayter – Time Out Of Mind

This new cut from the fab Lou Hayter is pure 80s hued synth-pop magic and a cover of one of her favourite Steely Dan deep cuts. Lou is known for her previous musical guises as part of New Young Pony Club, but with a debut album coming in the spring it affirms the singer,  DJ, writer and producer as a true solo artist creating gorgeous, sugary retro-future pop,  with influences from Jellybean-era Madonna, The Human League, hazy West Coast sounds from 70s Steely Dan to 90s Snoop Dogg,  and then the likes of Jai Paul and SOPHIE – a real melting pot of greatness.  It is a heady and heavenly concoction and feels like just what the world needs right now. The debut album ‘Private Sunshine’ drops on May 7th.

Flo Milli – Roaring 20s

To kick off 2021, burgeoning Alabama rapper, Flo Milli returns with her new single ‘Roaring 20s’. On the release and this next phase, Flo Milli shares: “The Roaring 20s was a period in history of dramatic social and political change.  Last year I was able to break through during a very difficult time for not only our country but, the world. Born in 2000, and having my breakout year in 2020, I feel like I’m living in the new age of the Roaring 20s.“

Ghetts ft Stormzy – Skengman

After already blessing us with his extremely well received single’s ‘IC3’ and ‘Mozambique’, Ghetts’ forthcoming album Conflict of Interest has quickly become one of the most highly anticipated albums of 2021. This time he teams up with the Skengman himself Stormzy in what could be the grime rappers best single yet. With incredible Sin City inspired visuals the duo have not let us down.

KSI x Anne-Marie x Digital Animal Farms – Don’t Play

Anne-Marie x KSI x Digital Farm Animals team up for their new track ‘Don’t Play’. The uplifting number is carried by a fluid garage beat accompanied by Anne-Marie’s world-class vocals, KSI’s easy flow and Digital Farm Animals’ production, making for a remedy to beat the January blues.  

The Plug x Fivio Foreign x M24 – Fashion

‘Fashion’ is the third release from The Plug’s upcoming album ‘Plug Talk 2’.   The rapper is joined by Five Foreign and M24 for this drill production. The track presents  it’s self as the cutting edge drill collaborations we didn’t know we needed.

Olivia Rose – Heaven

20 year old singer Olivia Rose releases her single Heaven, a track with smooth vocals over a drum and bass filled beat. The vocal melodies also swell over dissonant chords, complementing each other perfectly’. 

SIA Ft Burna Boy – Hey Boy

Nine-time Grammy-nominated artist Sia returns with her new single ‘Hey Boy’. The unexpected collaboration from self proclaimed african giant Burna Boy gives the song a feel good dance vibe that will have listeners getting out their seats.

Bree Runway fr Missy Elliot – ATM

Taken from her debut mixtape “2000AND4EVA”, ‘ATM’ is a vibrant hip-hop track that oozes the right about of sass and confident with help from rap legend Missy Elliot. The catchy lyrics with smart one liners will have anyone uncontrollably singing along. 

Ebhoni – Hit This

Toronto singer Ebhoni releases her Afrobeats influenced track ‘Hit This’. The singers milk like vocals encompasses the perfect blend of relaxing and intoxicating creating a vibe like no other.
