FKA twigs ft. rema – Jealousy

FKA twigs has finally released her new mixtape CAPRISONGS, and we seriously can’t get enough. The record showcases the singer’s free spirit to the fullest with its dance-heavy tracks. Her latest single ‘jealously’ with rema, is the perfect example of the artist’s carefree versatility.

Abby Roberts – Paramaniac

Internet star Abby Roberts is ready to show the music world what’s she made of with her brand new single ‘Paramaniac’. Backed by a lo-fi sound, the track explores topics like self-love, mental health and relationships. Speaking on the single, Abby said: “The reason I wrote ‘Paramaniac’ in the first place was kind of just to vent about my personal experiences; thoughts on my body image, my struggles with my mental health, relationships and overall just the whole feeling of growing up in an online world where you constantly compare yourself to everyone around you.

King Princess ft. Fousheé

King Princess has ushered in her new era of music with her latest single ‘Little Brother’. Teaming up with Fousheé, the single explores the weird aftermath of a failed relationship. When asked about the inspiration behind the record, King Princess said: “‘Little Bother’ kind of came out of nowhere; Zach had the guitar part and Fou and I just started going off. It became this song about tiptoeing around someone you’ve lost and feeling like a pest. It poses questions to a person who may not be listening at all and I think that’s a beautiful sentiment.”

Years & Years – Sooner Or Later

If you’re going through a messy break-up then Years & Years new track ‘Sooner Or Later‘ is for you. The track is full of ominous lyrics about falling victim to a past lover’s mind games. Backed by a dance-pop sonnd, the single will leave listeners confident and ready to leave their own toxic situation.

John Newman – Waiting For A Lifetime

After a brief hiatus, John Newman returns with one of his best tracks to date! Synonymous for his retro, soul-pop sound, John returns all guns blazing on ‘Waiting For A Lifetime’, which is a euphoric dance banger, perfect to obliterate those New Year blues. 

Call Me Loop – Year Of The Ex

2022 is the year of Call Me Loop, let alone her infectious new pop smash ‘Year Of The Ex’. We’ve been big fans of Call Me Loop for a while now, so it’s great to see her back doing what she does best and gifting us some of the best pop hooks in the biz!

Tai Verdes – LAst DAy oN EaRTH

Tai Verdes is continuing his upward trajectory with his bluesy new single ‘LAst DAy oN EaRTH‘. Like his previous releases, Tai brings his signature carefree vibes to the unapologetic track as he sings about living his “last day.” From start to finish, listeners will find themselves feeling good about life and the future.

Erika Tham – Shhh

LA-based pop/R&B singer-songwriter and actress Erika Tham makes a fiery entrance this year with her new single ‘Shhh‘. The tongue-in-cheek track demonstrates Erika’s lyrical wit and seductive flow as she puts every mansplaining fuckboy firmly in their place. Speaking on the record, Erika says: “It’s a fun, feminine, and coquettish song that was equally as fun to make. When it came to writing the verses, I wanted to pay homage to the sassy, unapologetic pop stars of the ‘90s.

Kojey Radical ft. Knucks – Payback

Kojey Radical shines on his latest outing ‘Payback’. The new record sees the London native team up with Knucks as they effortlessly deliver hard-hitting bars about confidence and swagger. When describing the single, Kojey said: When you’ve been taught to be the victim for so long, it feels great to stand up and say, ‘No one can bully me’.”

Fontaines D.C. – Jackie Down The Line

Ahead of their upcoming third album, Fontaines D.C. have released their new single ‘Jackie Down The Line’. Fueled by brooding nature, the track delivers a classic rock sound and a relatable batch of angsty lyrics. We can’t wait to see what else the band delivers this year.

Raveena – Rush

Raveena returns to the music sphere with her new single ‘Rush‘. The R&B-pop record introduces listeners to a “new sonic world” from the songstress. Backed with a Bollywood inspired sound, Raveena sings about her original character Asha – a Punjabi space princess. Speaking on the inspiration behind the record she revealed: “I wrote ‘Rush’ a couple years back and the song was the genesis of me exploring a more intense marriage between Bollywood sounds and the pop/R&B music that I grew up on in America. The song and video are centered around a character I created named Asha, a Punjabi space princess who is transported to a distant planet and learns highly advanced spiritual intelligence from the beings that live there.

Scuti – Eating

Scuti drops her smooth new single ‘Eating’, and we can’t get enough. Described as an “encapsulation of youthful fervor” the emerging rapper delivers silky smooth bars on the track that will leave you feeling cool, calm and collected. ‘Eating’ is just the beginning of Scuti’s music takeover.

Blue Hawaii – Butterfly

Montreal’s dance-pop dup Blue Hawaii drops their latest single, ‘Butterfly’, from their new EP, ‘My Bestfriend’s House’. The record encompasses the feeling of freedom and painting the town red after being held in lockdown. Backed by lo-fi drums, smooth key and light-hearted vocals, ‘Butterfly’ is a record that will be on repeat all weekend long.

BenjiFlow ft Juls – Ready

North-London native BenjiFlow makes his return with his brand new single ‘Ready’. The feel-good single connects BenjiFlow’s smooth vocal through an array of rhythmic elements. From smooth keys to balanced harmonics the talented singer/songwriter continues to prove he’s a musical force to be reckoned with.

Cate Le Bon – Remembering Me

Singer-songwriter Cate Le Bon, has released her final single from her upcoming album Pompeii with ‘Remembering Me‘. Backed by a vintage pop sound, Cate creates a psychedelic environment that will leave listeners dancing all night long. Speaking on the track, the songstress revealed: “‘Remembering Me’ is a neurotic diary entry that questions notions of legacy and warped sentimentalism in the desperate need to self-mythologise.”

Jennie Harluk – Be Your Friend

Jennie Harluk drops an anti-friendzone anthem titled “Be Your Friend” where she captures that instance of running into an ex whom you still have feelings for. And while the song kicks off in a laidback beat, it builds into a cathartic moment where Harluk’s vocals soar with both longing and heartache.
