It’s Friday and we have a brand new playlist for your weekend adventures. Featuring new releases from Beyoncé, flowerlove, FLOHIO and more. Check out the selects below.

Tritonal – ‘Something Beautiful’

Electronic duo Tritonal takes listeners on an atmospheric journey on ‘Something Beautiful,’ the latest single from their forthcoming album, Coalesce. The track touches on the relatable feeling of trying to find something to grab on to pull you out of the darkness.

Stela Cole – ‘Rhapsody In Pink

On the anthemic new single from Stela Cole, the Georgia peach showcases her feisty side, singing about knowing what you want and going for it. ‘Rhapsody In Pink’ is the second release from Stela this year and is an interpolation of Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue.” It’s safe to say this one will be stuck in your head for days!

Matt B – Ima Say It’

Matt B opens himself up on his vulnerable new single, ‘Ima Say It.’ Written during the pandemic, the track is about grappling with the feeling of bottling up your emotions when in the end it may be best to just speak up and hope for the best. “Ima Say It” features a swirling mix of twinkling keys and synths, allowing his vocals to shine as bright as the neon signs in the accompanying music video.

Layke – ‘Frequency’

After releasing a string of singles over the last few months, Layke has now dropped her new EP Frequency which spotlights a variety of her personal experiences from her struggles with mental health to finding acceptance in the LGBTQIA+ community. On the EP’s title track, Layke brings listeners on a cosmic journey of finding your place in the world through electro-pop textures.

The Driver Era – ‘Malibu’

Alt-pop band The Driver Era release their brand new single ‘Malibu’. Laced in escapism, brothers Rocky and Ross Lynch wrote the song while daydreaming about personal experiences. “‘Malibu’ is about reminiscing on experiences in the best locations,” the band says. “It’s about getting away. It’s the spontaneous trip you take with someone – maybe you knew them before, or maybe you’re meeting them for the first time”. Since making their debut with Preacher Man’ four years ago, The Driver Era have rocked up an impressive 300 million streams and 29 million combined social media followers, have released one studio album, three EPs and a series of critically acclaimed singles.

Olivia Lunny x Bhad Bhabie – ‘VIBE CHECK’

Following her debut album last year, Olivia Lunny returns with the breezy bop ‘VIBE CHECK’. The single marks a new era for the rising Canadian star, and features American rapper and internet personality, Bhad Bhabie.

SBTRKT ‘Miss The Days’

SBTRKT has released their brand new single ‘Miss The Days’ and we can’t get enough. Backed by a rapturous production, the record contains euphoric lyrics that take a nod at the UK’s late ’90s golden-era. With its harmonious vocals and dreamy sound, music listeners are certain to gravitate to SBTRKT’s new track ‘Miss The Days.’

Isabella Lovestory  ‘Fashion Freak

Emerging pop songstress Isabella Lovestory returns with her new single ‘Fashion Freak.’ Produced by Chicken and Nick León, the track exudes confidence that will surely inspire new and old fans alike. Alongside the track’s release, the rising talent also dropped a visual for the record – which showcases Isabella strutting on a treadmill in various looks while she reads fashion magazines. Speaking about the inspiration behind the record, Isabella said: “‘Fashion freak’ is for the fashionistas who simply adore looking chic. Creating the melody to ur life’s catwalk. Obsessing over clothes until u end up in the sexiest straight jacket.

flowerlove – ‘Get With You

flowerovlove is back and better than ever with her new single, ‘Get With You’. The track captures the essence of her previous release  ‘Hannah Montana’ while also introducing music listeners to another layer of her artistry. “’Get With You’ is a mindset of going after something you want. Needing, wanting, and urging to ‘get with it,'” flowerlove revealed in a statement

FLOHIO‘SPF’

Rapper FLOHIO is getting ready to start her new music era with her latest single ‘SPF.’ Produced by frequent collaborator Speech, the British-Nigerian talent delivers effortless flows amidst a production full of glitched-out synths and swinging percussion. With an array of melodies and its immersive sound, ‘SPF’ is a song that needs to be on your radar.

Ivorian Doll – Messy

Ivorian Doll has shared her brand new hard-hitting single ‘Messy’ and we are in love. The high-energy track is fueled by an array of quickfire verses and a minimalist production. After listening to ‘Messy’ it’s safe to say that Ivorian Doll is one of Drill and hip-hop music’s most compelling artists.

Sampa the Great – Bona

Sampa the Great continues her upward trajectory in the music sphere with her brand new single ‘Bona’. Filled with wandering subs, immersive commanding lyrics and a dreamy rhythm flow, Sampa’s effortlessly shines on the record.
