Experiencing a breakup is always hard, but sometimes what you need to get out of the post-breakup rut is a good song to cry and sing along to. Well, look no further. Stela Cole’s new single ‘Bye Bye Blues’ is THE song you need in your life. It’s the perfect upbeat track to remind yourself that there is always a positive side that’s worth clinging to during tough times. 

Tiko – One Step

Our lovable fishy friend Tiko has released his sophomore album Upside Down and we’re absolutely obsessed with his new single ‘One Step.’ For the first time ever, the lighthearted track features the original vocals from Jayden, who performs under the moniker Tiko, and we’re captivated by this fresh new release.

Televison Screams – Uncomfrotably Numb

Television Screams have returned from their brief music hiatus with their third single ‘Uncomfortably Numb.’ Penned by guitarist Nancy Napalm, the record is long rallying cry against oppressive relationships and the unfairness of life.

Britney Spears and Elton John – Hold Me Closer (Purple Disco Machine Remix)

Elton John and Britney Spears continue their music takeover with their second official remix of ‘Hold Me Closer.’ Teaming up with world-renowned producer and DJ Purple Disco Machine, the remix breathes new life into the beloved electronic pop record with a nu-disco twist. Britney and Elton have also released an accompanying video for the song that further exudes the track’s carefree nature.

Beckah Amani – Smoke and Mirrors

Emerging talent Beckah Amani has released her new single ‘Smoke And Mirrors’ – which was written by Beckah and produced and mixed by Matt Corby. Coming of her recently released EP April, the emotive single focuses on the singer’s concern for the climate crisis, Speaking on the track, the songstress says: ”For many young people including myself, the climate change crisis is a very real and stressful reality. Particularly centred around our toxic and over consumption of fast fashion, the lyrics of this song details how we have fallen for “painted glitter and shiny little” to the detriment of our environment and our future. The lyrics “smoke and mirrors” refers to the vagueness, misinformation, half truths and confusion that surrounds this issue and the fashion industries lack of activism for the sake of profits and “progress”.

Kelela – Happy Ending

Kelela has continued her music return with her brand new single ‘Happy Ending’. Produced by LSDXOXO, the track is full of high energy beats and romantic lyrics about a club crush that will leave music listeners dancing all night long. We can’t get enough of ‘Happy Ending.’

Pip Millett – My Way

After weeks of aniticpationg, Pip Millett and her debut album When Everything Is Better, I’ll Let You Know has finally arrived. Led by her new single ‘My Way’, which discusses taking back control and accepting the past, the album is full of soulful tracks that will leave fans feeling empowered, confident and mature.

Loyle Carner – Speed of Phlight

Loyle Carner usher’s in his brand new album hugo with new single ‘Speed Of Plight’. Backed by a immersive production, the song is full of emotionally charged lyrics that call-to-arms for a generation forged in fire and a study of the personal internal conflict that drives the rest of the album. If you’re in a need of a powerful hip-hop album ‘hugo’ is a must listen.

Genesis Owusu – Get Inspired

Ghanaian-Australian artist, Genesis Owusu has dropped his new single, ‘Get Inspired’ and we can’t get enough. Produced by Dann Hume and Andrew Klippel, the multi-ARIA award-winning artist delivers siren-like guitar wails, powerful bass notes and fiery lyrics. The song has left us truly inspired.

Taylor Swift – Lavender Haze

After a brief hiatus, Taylor Swift is back with her first original album since Evermore. Described as an “a cinematic sonic landscape” ‘Midnights’ tells the story of 13 sleepless and features collaborations with Lana Del Rey and production by Jack Antonoff. Standouts on the record include ‘Lavender Haze,’ ‘Anti-Hero’ and ‘Karma.’

SD The God Chargie

NYC-based talent SD The God has returned with his seductive new single ‘Chargie.’ The electric new single is full of romantic lyrics that capture the butterfly feeling of falling in love with that special someone. Speaking on the track, SD said: “I actually created this track on a whim, not in the sense that there was no thought behind it, no I put a ton of thought behind what I wanted as an end product, but in the sense that I didn’t know where the song was going to take me or where I was going to take it. I was really feeling a love song, in the mood for an afroswing vibe for the summer because who doesn’t like that and was super excited to get into the studio.
