Written and produced by Izzy herself, the new single showcases the young talent’s evolved sound with its electronic-pop production. Filled with lyrics relating to mythology and folklore, ‘Celestial Sodomy’, is a magical track that needs to be on your radar. Speaking on the track, Izzy said: “In a procession of lore, I tell a love story (inspired by experience) between the god of war, Aries, and the god of the underworld, Hades. Mars exhibits sheer force in the material plane, but even the strongest warrior bends knee to Pluto and his archetypical, mythological and astrological signifiers – sheer transformation, annihilation and subsequent purity and rebirth. Pluto is seldom gentle in his effects, his presence foreshadowing the ultimate release, erotic or otherwise. Chain your primeval desires to him and meet your truth.”
