Cate has released her brand new track ‘Girlfriend’ and we can’t get enough. Backed by an eighties-inspired production and slick guitar riffs, the new track explores themes of miscommunication and the complexity of romantic relationships. “I wrote this song with my friend Ines after complaining that men want mothers instead of girlfriends. It was honestly a joke until it was fully written,” Cate said about the track. “My favourite line is before the first chorus “somebody you can love but with no demands”. I’ve felt this so many times in relationships. They demand so much from you but you’re expected to ask for nothing back.”

Yussef Dayes ft Tom Misch – Rust

Yussef Dayes has teamed up with longtime friend Tom Misch for their new track ‘Rust.’ The track, which is set to be featured on Yussef’s debut solo album “Black Classical Music”, features dynamic production and a magical set of lyrics.

Speaking on the track Sam said: “I wrote the chorus of Alright in the shower in 2018 while I was having an anxiety attack. I calmed myself down by saying “I’m gonna be alright” repeatedly – then went to the studio and smashed out the song!”
