Netta – Everything
Following the legend’s return to Eurovision with her unforgettable performance of ‘You Spin Me Round (Like A Record)’ as part of The Liverpool Songbook, Netta has released brand new music, in the form of huge new pop banger ‘Everything’, co-written with AJR and Zara Larsson(!!). The track is out now via Polydor Records/Hollywood Records, and comes with a super fun music video, a true spectacle in traditional Netta style. Netta recently announced her Wonderful & Great World Tour, which will include a London date later this year on 1st September. Prior to this, she will be hitting multiple PRIDE events. Speaking on the track Netta says: “I’ve spent a lot of time working on myself, learning my value as both an artist and a human being, and waiting for the moment when I could come back to this song and whole-heartedly bring it to life,” stated Netta. “That moment is NOW, and I am ready to share it with the world!”
Karin Ann – bittersweet heartbreak
The Slovakian artist (FFO Billie Eilish, girl in red) is fast becoming a Gen-Z icon in her region and globally. New track ‘bittersweet heartbreak’ sees Karin conquer the pop-rock ballad, a story of accepting what’s meant for you, even if it means being heartbroken in the interim. “The song is about a relationship ending, and after a while looking back on it, realizing that ending it was very much for the better. You still miss the person and you still miss the good times that you had with them, but you know, deep down, that you were bad for each other… so it’s a little bit of a bittersweet moment.” The accompanying music video is an artistic stop-motion animation of hand-written letters, later placed in an envelope addressed to ‘Olivia’, the song’s love interest.
RJ Thompson – Live at Abbey Road
Georgie multi-instrumentalist and musical mastermind RJ Thompson unveils his new album Live at Abbey Road. Recorded live at London’s iconic studios, the record includes live recordings of his previous Official UK Top 40 Albums – Lifeline and Yearbook, plus brand new track ‘Headspace’ (which documents RJ’s experience with poor mental health) and an irresistible cover of Rolling Stones’ classic ‘You Can’t Always Get What You Want’.
