DJ & producer Liaison has released his high-energy new single ‘Love Will Take You Higher’ and we are obsessed. Throughout the track, the emerging talent blends soulful vocals with an upbeat drum and bass backbeat. Speaking on the new single, Liaison says: ‘I wanted to create a song that makes people feel uplifted and show some kind of hope in these weird times that were in. When I started making this track, the music I was hearing at the time didn’t lift me as much as I needed or craved, so I created something that made me feel a certain hope.
Jordan Adetunji – Things You Do
Attention Jordan Adetunji fans! The talented singer-songwriter has dropped his new single ‘Things You Do’. Backed by pulsating dancefloor beats and deep lyrical content, the record tells the story of an all-consuming love. In a statement, Jordan gives further insight into the track, stating: “This song is about the way I see a similarity between love and addiction. How it can blind us. How It can take over our mind & emotions. And make us do things out of character. For me this was about past addiction and how love felt similar to that feeling.”
Rosie H Sullivan – Fragments
Rosie H Sullivan has returned her new single ‘Fragments,’ which is described as “the first piece to the puzzle of her new EP.” Throughout the immersive single, beautiful poetic lyrics are paired with angelic melodies that paint the story of Rosie’s love for Scotland. “I started writing this one on the ferry from Stornoway to Ullapool after my first visit back to the island since we moved,” Rosie explains in a statement. “The sea was calm, and I gazed out the window of the boat, upon the blue skies and the crystal sea, the islands and rocky, heather coated rugged landscapes we passed heading into Ullapool. It pulled on my heart strings and made me realise how much this part of the world is a part of me.“
Samantha Urbani – One Day At A Time
Samantha Urbani has started her new music era with the release of her lead single ‘One Day At A Time’. Taken from her debut studio album Showing Up, the record is perfect for fans of Rapture-era Blondie and LCD Soundsystem.
Jessy Lanza – I Hate Myself
Jessy Lanza has released her focus track ‘I Hate Myself’ from her new album Love Hallucination and we can’t get enough. The emotive track features a series of raw and thoughtful lyrics with a production full of plangent synth notes.
Freddie Lewis – Prettiest Secret
Openly trans music talent Freddie Lewis is back with his latest single ‘Prettiest Secret.’ Throughout the track, the talented songwriter sings about the pain of being someone’s secret and not being loved openly by their “DL partner.” “This is a song about my relationship with people who are ‘DL’. It’s specifically about sleeping with straight women when I was younger, and I guess about sleeping with gay men now, about being a fetish or a phase, about both loving and hating that, about people being confused by me but deciding not to onboard their confusion and just having fun,” Freddie explains. “There’s a definite underlying sadness for me in this track, its total joy vibe is sort of ironic once you listen to the lyrics / off the back of the second verse. I guess it’s about nuance!”

James Blake has released his second single from the highly anticipated sixth studio album Playing Robots Into Heaven. On ‘Loading,’ the beloved talent brings his classic music style to the forefront while also previewing a new immersive sound.
Jalen Ngonda – That’s All I Wanted From You
London-based artist Jalen Ngonda shares his latest single ‘That’s All I Wanted From You.’ Like his previously-released single ‘Come Around And Love Me,’ the new record features a 70’s Motown sound that perfectly compliments Jalen’s powerful voice and forlorn lyrics. In a statement, the young talent describes ‘That’s All I Wanted From You‘ as a “up-tempo soul rocker.” “This one is my favourite performance because of the raw emotion as well as the conviction of the backing vocals,” he adds.
kid apollo ft. dexter in the newsagent – fantasise
London trio kid apollo have released their new single ‘fantasise’ ft. dexter in the newsagent from their new 5 track EP In Your Own Right. Throughout the record, the lead vocalist sings Jimmy HM sings about the concept of distance and how its effect on relationships. “When there’s an element of distance in relationships, the space and emotion between communication kind of gets numbed to just a state of mind, rather than everything happening for real,” Jimmy explains in a statement. “It sounds simple but it’s weird to think about.
Cafuné – Demise
NYC-based duo Cafuné has released their new single ‘Demise.’ Taken from their upcoming EP Love Songs for the End, the new track see’s the pair reflect on patterns that often get in the way of a person’s success. Speaking on the track, singer/songwriter Sedona Scha says: “We wrote ‘Demise’ about feeling mentally stuck in that internal dialogue of being unkind to yourself; trapped in decision paralysis, silencing yourself for fear of being misunderstood. Sometimes it’s helpful to laugh at yourself to get over these self-sabotaging patterns.”
