Orla Gartland has made her grand return to the music sphere with her new singer ‘Kiss Ur Face Forever’. With a new pop-rock sound, the young talent sings about the conflicted feelings that come with a new romantic partnership. In a statement, Orla gives further insight into the track: “This song is about being in love and split down the middle by it – on one side excited and energised, the other side cynical and withheld”.

FIZZAs Good As It Gets

dodie, Orla Gartland, Greta Isaac and Martin Luke Brown’s new project – FIZZ have released their fourth single ‘As Good As It Gets’ and we are obsessed. Filled with layered harmonies and lyrics about womanhood, the new single is an unapologetic and fun listen from start to finish. “As we were writing this song, it became clear that this song stemmed from the experience of womanhood and femininity […] Singing this felt like opening a valve after years of built up pressure and tension; it was cathartic and healing,” the foursome explained when discussing the ‘As Good As It Gets.’

Halle – Angel

Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Halle has ushered in her solo music era with the etheral debut single ‘Angel’. Partnering up with the talented Theron “NeffU” Feemster, the new record features a unique cinematic production infused with R&B sounds and orchestral arrangements. In addition to the immersive sound, the track also highlights Halle’s powerful vocals that fans have come to know and love. Speaking on the track, Halle says: “This song for me is so very special and near and dear to my heart. With everything I’ve gone through the past 3-4 years, suddenly finding myself in this bubble of all these eyes and new opinions, it was easy for me to feel doubt in myself and who I was. This song for me was my climb out of those feelings, a mantra and promise to myself that the work I’m doing here on earth matters and that I matter. I wanted to be able to embrace and be proud of myself and who I am naturally through and through. I hope other brown and black girls and everyone in general feel embraced, respected, and inspired hearing the words of this song.”

Jacklyn – No Saint

Emerging London artist Jacklyn has dropped her new empowering alt-pop single ‘No Saint.’ Throughout the record, The BRIT School graduate delivers powerful vocals that are backed by a rich and bouncy production. In a statement about the track’s meaning, Jacklyn reveals that ‘No Saint‘ is about taking your power back. “‘No saint’ is a song I wrote about being taken for granted and when someone thinks you need them more than they need you, thinking the sun shines out of their ass! It’s a song about taking that power back and bringing them back down to earth and reminding them they “ain’t no saint”
