Benjamin Ingrosso – Kite

Marking his first release of the year and coming out with a bang, Benjamin Ingrosso has released his new single and music video for “Kite.” On the track, Benjamin describes the intoxicating ‘the sky’s the limit’ feeling after meeting someone new while dancing in the clouds in the accompanying visual. The nostalgic track weaves classic Swedish pop and soul from the 70’s with modern contemporary music styles of the 90s, creating a lane entirely of its own and marking the pop sensation as an artist to watch.

girli – Be With Me

Alt-pop icon girli furthers the narrative for her forthcoming album with ‘Be With Me’ – a personal memoir of learning to love oneself. The song features artefacts from the trove of past relationships, thoughtfully juxtaposed against the bliss of a contented partnership with oneself. The track underscores the significance of understanding the lifelong companion within, with girli emerging as a figurehead for a generation embracing the journey of self-discovery with refreshing openness. Of the track, girli said: “‘Be With Me is about how being in a relationship with yourself is the best relationship ever because there’s no strings attached, no jealousy, no lovers turned to enemies, no bad blood; the best chemistry and butterflies are with yourself when you learn to love you.”

Vince Freeman – Blame Myself

Vocal powerhouse Vince Freeman has released his new track ‘Blame Myself’, the third single from his highly-anticipated debut album Scars, Ghosts & Glory. The anthemic soulful stomper is an ode to unapologetically owning the choices we make in life and speaks to the singer-songwriter’s journey of self-acceptance. In the accompanying music video, directed by Chris Boulton and Moss Davis, Freeman takes hit after hit, showcasing his resilience as he humbly holds his ground no matter what is thrown his way. Speaking on the track, Vince said: “They don’t belong to anyone else and they make me who I am – warts and all! I think that we are all the eye of our own storm and the one true constant as we try and find our way. ‘Blame Myself’ is a statement of fact, it is a ‘Here I am, no apologies, just making the best lemonade I can!’”

Indie-pop singer-songwriter Millie Turner has made her exciting return to the music scene with her new single ‘Venus’. Backed by an ethereal production, the enchanting track tells the story of protecting one’s creative psyche and true beauty. Speaking on the rack, Millie explained: “Venus is a song all about the creative psyche which is an inner world that we cannot touch, but where everything is happening and everything is possible and creativity lives in a cave. Its power is so strong that some want to go up, travel through space, and go to the desert psyche, catch Venus, mine the soil, and show it off to the world. But beauty is not that simple. The song is about someone who is witnessing this horror as the rockets go to space, on the hunt for Venus. The song is an ode to true beauty which is more mysterious and can never be held down, sold, or even touched. And that drives the world crazy.”

Chloé Caillet – 12 Inch Acid

Emerging electronic music tour-de-force Chloé Caillet has delivered a dynamic new track, ’12 Inch Acid,’ and we can’t get enough! Blend elements of electronic music, Chloe captures the essence of clubland past, present and future through a unique and queer lense.

SEBii – FRENDS>>ENEMii

Chinese-American rapper/producer is back and better than ever with ‘FRENDS>>ENEMii.’ Filled with glitchy hyperpop sounds and creative lyrics, the new record will leave music listeners dancing all night long.

Cate – Rocket Science

London-based superstar Cate has dropped her eagerly awaited new single, ‘Rocket Science.’ Kicking off 2024 with a bang, the young talent has delivered a fantastic record that explores the aftermath of a toxic relationship. When reflecting on the track, Cate says: “I had the line “loving me isn’t rocket science” on my phone for a while. I’ve been in relationships in the past where sometimes things that would normally be common sense on what not to do in a relationship are done, and there’s this angry resentment that comes with it. I’m calling it my soft launch back into doing more country-pop music.”
