Leah Capelle – on accident

Leah Capelle’s newest single ‘on accident’ is a violently honest song about mistakes. Balancing the line between alt-pop and hard rock, Capelle wails over a massive punk-rock stack as she begs, “did I hurt you? You know I didn’t mean it… Did I hurt you on accident?” Capelle explains, “on accident is a very vulnerable track – though enhanced by the visceral drum arrangement and pulsating synth parts, it’s a meditation on weakness at its core. It’s difficult to accept your faults, your selfish habits, your flaws – and even harder to ask for forgiveness in light of those flaws. But there is strength in brutal yet tender self-awareness.”

Annette Lee – Song for the Underdog

Singaporean director, actress and singer-songwriter Annette Lee – known for her work with the popular Singapore-based humor platforms SGAG / Nubbad TV – has released an uplifting anthem for anyone who has never felt cool enough. Powerful and uplifting, ‘Song for the Underdog’ draws us in with an urgency to keep pushing on in whatever we do.

Weathers – Feel Good

Known for serving up lyrics with real substance, Weathers have channeled a particularly personal experience in ‘Feel Good’ and offered up a vulnerable alt-rock bop that will appeal to fans of The 1975, Yungblud, and lovelytheband. With the help of award-winning producer /songwriter Tim Pagnotta (Coin, Walk The Moon, St. Lucia), the song melds a myriad of retro and modern musical influences balancing the solemn lyrical content with punchy, upbeat instrumentation.

Grace Davies – Invisible

You might remember Grace Davies for making waves on the 2017 season of the X Factor, when she made it to the finals of the show performing original songs. This Friday marks the release of her first single since being on the show–better late than never!–and it’s one that was definitely worth the wait. ‘Invisible’ shows off the 22-year-old’s incredible songwriting chops.

Alysha – Love or Lust

Model and R&B singer Alysha released her EP ‘Midnight Rendezvous’ earlier this month, and ‘Love or Lust’ is one track you won’t want to miss. Her sultry vocals and laid-back beats make for a great record on wondering where you stand in a relationship.

Swedish duo VCATION are back after a year absence with another dance hit. ‘Stairway To The Sun’ is another showcase from the minds behind Swedish House Mafia’s ‘Don’t You Worry Child’ on how to write thoughtful lyrics and pair it with an infectious beat.

KJ and RussMB – Money Hungry

KJ wants you to keep chasing the bag with his new track ‘Money Hungry’ featuring RussMB. The fast-paced record is filled with some hard-hitting beats and fire bars that will have you wanting to turn up and hustle at the same time.

Cat Burns – Fool in Love

19-year old Cat Burns dives deep into complicated relationships with her new single. Her brand of pop has the perfect mix of R&B that’ll have you putting this on repeat while you get in your feelings.

Lion Babe – Hot in Herre

Lion Babe’s Nelly cover is perfect for your throwback Thursday–or any other day of the week! Even if the original track is already a banger, Lion Babe’s ultra-femme vocals and modern arrangement breathe a new life into the record.

WizTheMc – The One

WizTheMC’s ‘The One’ is the first song off his new mixtape ‘Growing Teeth,’ and we’re a little bit obsessed. This fun track will have you convinced that this Cape Town-born, Berlin-raised rapper is ready to go international.

Caribou – Never Come Back

Caribou’s given us another taste of his upcoming album ‘Suddenly’ this week. It’ll be the first full-length album Dan Snaith has put out under the ‘Caribou’ moniker since 2015, and if these fresh, synth-heavy tracks that have been released so far are any indication, it’ll be one to look forward to!

Blossoms – If You Think This Is Real Life

Blossoms wow’s on their new track ‘If You Think This Is Real Life’. The record taps into an array of vintage sounds. With it’s 80’s like vibe and upbeat lyrics, the Blossoms have created another upstanding track that will have you feeling like million bucks. Along with this banging release, the group has dropped their brand album ‘Foolish Loving Spaces‘ with other standout tracks like ‘My Swimming Brain’, and ‘Like Gravity’.

Mr Eazi – Kpalanga

The pioneer of the Banku genre is still showing us his great mind for creating Afrobeat hits. Mr Eazi’s new single is light, upbeat, and will definitely have you grooving all weekend long!

Madison Beer – Good in Goodbye

Announcing the track in the most hilarious way possible, Lil Nas X tweeted the following “please stream my landlord is getting fed up” with a pic of himself and Nas. We have to stan!
