Lana Del Rey Cancels her European/UK Tour

Thursday 20 February 2020

American singer Lana Del Rey has canceled her upcoming EU/UK tour today due to an illness.

The artist apologized to her fans in a statement: “Sorry to let everyone down so last minute but this illness has taken me by surprise and have totally lost my singing voice. Dr has advised 4 weeks off for the moment. I hate to let everyone down, but I need to get well. Love Lana”

The ‘Doin Time’ songstress was originally due to kick off her tour this Friday in Amsterdam, with a performance at the O2 in London at the end of February – the tour was in support of her newest album, Norman F****** Rockwell!. Her latest album was met with rave reviews from fans and critics alike and left the singer with nominations for the BRIT ‘International Female Solo Artist’ award, two Grammys, and the NME award for ‘Best Album In The World’ to boot.

Currently, Del Rey is still scheduled to perform at Glastonbury Festival and Primavera Sound this summer. Fans who have purchased tickets to her canceled tour dates have been advised to contact their original point of purchase for refunds.
