We the Commas – Sherry
With a sound inspired by the waves they surf, We the Commas debut single is a prime example of the Surf Alternative R&B genre they’ve coined for themselves. Anderson .Paak – Lockdown
Anderson.Paak delivers poetic bars on his brand new record ‘Lockdown’. Touching on an array of current events ranging from the peaceful protests, police brutality, unemployment and COVID-19, Anderson is holding nothing back on the unapologetic record. This track is the perfect way to vibe and celebrate Juneteenth weekend.
Tiana Major9 – Lucky
Tiana Major9 is serving positive romantic vibes with each lyric on her new single ‘Lucky’. The songstress sings about being happily in love with sweet lyrics and metaphors placed throughout the track. Will Barradale – In Your Mind
‘In Your Mind’ is a track that will take listeners through a futuristic journey. The production on the song is breathtaking with its sound ranging from high energy to therapeutic. ‘I Can’t Breathe’ is a breathtaking new track by H.E.R that MUST be heard. The songstress sings about the injustices that black people face and the generational trauma that the community endures. From start to finish ‘I Can’t Breathe’ delivers a strong and powerful message surrounding the current events and the black lives matter movement. But what makes this track even more amazing is the spoken word segment from H.E.R. at the 2.24 mark. The world needs to be educated and this song will help in that journey.
