Speaking on the EP she states, “I like to look at “cry.baby” as a body of work that goes through the motions and perspective of different relationships. The casual ones, the complicated, the beautiful and the most important, the one with yourself. We the Commas – Sherry

With a sound inspired by the waves they surf, We the Commas debut single is a prime example of the Surf Alternative R&B genre they’ve coined for themselves. At its core, ‘Sherry’ is a simple love song that gives us classic vibes layered with new school alternative sensibilities. With a style this unique, we can’t wait to see what else this band of brothers has in store.

Victoria Monet ft. Khalid – Experience

Victoria Monet and Khalid are giving off some 70’s vibes with a little bit of electro-pop on their feel-good track ‘Experience‘. Backed by a funky production and chemistry galore the two artists create an upbeat love song perfect to dance to all weekend long.

Anderson .Paak – Lockdown

Anderson.Paak delivers poetic bars on his brand new record ‘Lockdown’. Touching on an array of current events ranging from the peaceful protests, police brutality, unemployment and COVID-19, Anderson is holding nothing back on the unapologetic record. This track is the perfect way to vibe and celebrate Juneteenth weekend.

Tiana Major9 – Lucky

Tiana Major9 is serving positive romantic vibes with each lyric on her new single ‘Lucky’. The songstress sings about being happily in love with sweet lyrics and metaphors placed throughout the track. If you’ve been trying to find a way to express your feelings to your boo start off by playing this uplifting love song.

Will Barradale – In Your Mind

‘In Your Mind’ is a track that will take listeners through a futuristic journey. The production on the song is breathtaking with its sound ranging from high energy to therapeutic. Along with its sound, Will’s alluring vocals will have you intensely listening to every riff, ad-lib and harmonization. Speaking on the track, Will states, ” ‘In Your Mind’ is some sort of window into one way infatuation, that weird feeling of trying to understand the way the person you’re into feels and thinks about you (in a mad state of passion uncertainty)”.

Ebenezer takes us through the journey of being a black person in today’s society. The talented artist sings about wanting change and reform and the harsh reality of what it means to be black. With an intense beat and thoughtful lyrics, Ebenezer has created an empowering track that is must listen.

Saweetie – Tap In

Saweetie is tapping into her inner Too $hort for her new track ‘Tap In’. Sampling the classic turn-up anthem ‘Blow The Whistle’, Saweetie serves fire bars that will have you feeling confident, empowered and ready to paint the town red (with social distancing measures in place of course). Thank you Saweetie for another summer banger.

H.E.R. – I Can’t Breathe

‘I Can’t Breathe’ is a breathtaking new track by H.E.R that MUST be heard. The songstress sings about the injustices that black people face and the generational trauma that the community endures. From start to finish ‘I Can’t Breathe’ delivers a strong and powerful message surrounding the current events and the black lives matter movement. But what makes this track even more amazing is the spoken word segment from H.E.R. at the 2.24 mark. The world needs to be educated and this song will help in that journey.

The Killers – My Own Souls Warning

The Killers are back and better than ever with their new track ‘My Own Souls Warning’. The feel-good single is perfect for fans and new listeners alike with its epic rock n roll sound and story. If you’re in need of a good dance to shake away the stress then ‘My Own Souls Warning’ is for you.

RHODES – I’m Not Ok
