Produced by Mike Sabath, the fiercely energetic, free-spirited new single finds Zara boldly declaring “I don’t wanna talk about love”, with a melodic verse from Young Thug.
JC Stewart – Break My Heart
With an emotionally driven track, JC Stewart warms our hearts with his latest single ‘Break My Heart’. The indie-soul track show of JC’s vocal range and story telling capabilities.
slowthai ft A$AP Rocky – MAZZA
With slowthai‘s second album TYRON due for release on February 5th he gifts us with ‘MAZZA’. Fearless and fervent its bone-shaking bassline brings slowthai’s distinctive sound back into sharp focus. Cohort A$AP Rocky enhances the track with his recognisable flow – the inspiring swagger of these two trailblazing rappers back to back is seriously impressive stuff.
Martin Gore – Howler
Martin Gore, songwriter and founding member of Depeche Mode, releases the haunting ‘Howler’ today and readies us for the forthcoming 5 track instrumental EP, The Third Chimpanzee, out 29 January 2021. Like the entire EP, ‘Howler’ paints a cinematic musical landscape that sounds like a new dawn. Written and produced by Martin Gore, it was recorded at Electric Ladyboy in Santa Barbara, California.
Ragz Originale – Brush U
North London’s finest Ragz Originale not only announces a new mixtape that drops on the 29th, but also the new single ‘Brush U’, which is out now! The new single is a taste of much needed paradise, compressed into a song flavoured in a sultry brand West African influenced R&B, oozing with rich harmonies and island vibes! Is it Summer yet?
Molly Burch – Emotion
Co written and produced with label mate Wild Nothing, ‘Emotion’ is the first taster of new music from Austin icon Molly Burch and it’s nothing short of being a heavenly pop bop. The track is released alongside her Ariana Grande cover of “Needy” on 7” next month.
Olivia Rodrigo – drivers license
Singer/songwriter and actress, Olivia Rodrigo shares her debut original single “drivers license” via Polydor Records. Penned by Rodrigo, she first shared a clip of the piano-driven, alt-pop song on Instagram in the summer of 2020 to incredible fan reaction, which inspired her to go into the studio with producer and co-writer Dan Nigro (Conan Gray, Lewis Capaldi, Carly Rae Jepsen) to finish the track. With its radiant harmonies and kinetic percussion, “drivers license” is a brilliant balance of unfiltered outpouring and graceful specificity.
Hannah Hausman – will i ever feel like this again?
‘will I ever feel like this again?’ is an infectious indie pop jam from Quadio Records’ newest signing Hannah Hausman. Reflecting on her own inner dialogue, the LA-based singer songwriter crafts a melancholic yet optimistic tune you’ll have on full blast when you finally walk away from that boy who’s so clearly toxic for you.
Jake Isaac ft Samm Henshaw & Mumu Fresh – Remember
‘Remember’ follows the release of Jake’s two singles that he dropped at the end of 2020 – ‘Good’ featuring Tertia May, and ‘Eyes For You’. The track is a beautiful display of vocals and the talent all the artists possess.
Jazmine Sullivan ft H.E.R – Girl Like Me
Girl Like Me is Sullivan’s third single off her fourth studio album ‘Heaux Tales”. The female empowering track showcases both Sullivan and H.E.R’s smooth tone with embellishment of vocal runs that keep you wanting more.
ZAYN – Vibez
ZAYN’s latest single is the perfect RnB love song for a night in with a glass of wine. ‘Vibez’ is an easy listen from his new album ‘Nobody is Listening’. The track is a perfect mix of sex appeal and confidence with a sprinkle of a good time.
MOD SUN ft Avril Lavigne – Flames
MOD SUN teams up with rock superstar Avril Lavigne for his new single ‘Flames’. The highly anticipated song is a catchy rock/pop vibe with ‘emo’ lyrics to catch the listeners attention.
VanJess ft Jimi Tents and Garren – Curious
Sister Duo VanJess flex their enviable vocals on feel good RnB track ‘Curious’. The ladies are also joined by Jimi Tents and Garren with endearing lyrics to add an extra layer of flavour to the song.
Virgil Abloh ft serpentwithfeet – Delicate Limbs
Multi-hyphenate Man Virgil Abloh has teamed up with serpentwithfeet to drop his latest track & video ‘Delicate Limbs.’ Having previously collaborated with the likes of Boys Noise, Tiga & The Martinez Brothers this release follows his recent remix of Mercury Award winner Michael Kiwanuka’s hit song ‘Solid Ground.’ The single launches with a video Directed by Kordae Jatafa Henry – Watch here:
Black Honey – Believer
Black Honey dropped their new single, ‘Believer’, alongside a transfixing visual. ‘Believer’ is taken from the band’s much-anticipated upcoming album ‘Written and Directed’. The new track is a foot-stomping, cathartic experience – accompanied by a typically spellbinding video for Black Honey, set in a dusty, deserted Mexican village. the visual is full of daunting and mesmerising iconography.
