12AM – Hollywood

The emerging alt-R&B Toronto artist  – who has already collaborated with the likes of 24kGoldn, Trevor Daniel an legendary producer John Feldmann – gets candid on fresh new track ‘Hollywood’, opening up about his journey back to his Canadian native from LA LA Land. Speaking on the track, the young talent says: “Hollywood is the realest song I have ever written, it’s me being honest about my mental health and the depression that came with living in LA… LA almost killed me.”

Michael Incognito – Let me know you got this message

Alt-pop artist Michael Incognito gives us the perfect banger to blast while replacing our broken heart with self-love in his new single and video “Let me know you got this message.” The video depicts the Brooklyn-based artist confessing his feelings to a frat boy, which leads to heartbreak and shame. With the song, Incognito offers a soundscape to stitch back our hearts through self-acceptance and love.

Eddie Benjamin ft. Alessia Cara – Only You

Ahead of his Summertime Ball performance + sold-out London show next week, Eddie follows up ‘Weatherman’ (named one of TIME’s Best Songs of 2022 so far) with his latest offering, ‘Only You’, which features Alessia Cara. Currently on the Justice tour with Justin Bieber, Eddie counts the likes of Sia, Shawn Mendes and even The Beckham’s as fans! It’s going to be an incredible year for the Aussie native.

The Aces – Girls Make Me Wanna Die

Indie-pop quartet The Aces are back with a heartbreak banger just in time for the Pride Festival season. Hearkening back to unrequited love of awkward teenage years, ‘Girls Make Me Wanna Die’ is a queer anthem with a message that’s universally relatable. The song shows the bands evolution, diving father into the pop soundscape while striking balance with their edgy, alternative identities.

Greentea Peng – Stuck In The Middle

Greentea Peng has returned with their brand new single ‘Stuck In The Middle.’ Throughout the dynamic record, the singer-songwriter delivers luscious vocals amidst the backdrop of a warm R&B production. If you’re looking for a record that will transport you through the clouds then ‘Stuck In The Middle’ is the track for you and your soul.

flowerovlove – Hannah Montana

Emerging talent flowerovlove takes listeners back to the mid-2000s with her new track ‘Hannah Montana.’ From start to finish the new single delivers an infectious psych-pop bliss sound that showcases the singer’s creative power. Speaking on the inspiration of the track Flowerovlove says: “Hannah Montana is a reflection of how I’m a regular student on the weekdays but on the weekends I’m Flowerovlove.” 

FKJ – Let’s Live

Multi-instrumentalist French Kiwi Juice (FKJ) has finally released his brand new album  “V I N C E N T” – which features his brand new single ‘Let’s Live.’ For fans of his previous work, the aforementioned album contains his signature sound alongside an array of other genres like blur jazz, soul, folk, rock and experimental beats. ‘Let’s Live’ is the perfect example of his dynamic sound and is perfect for that chill summer evening in the garden.
 

FLOHIO – Cuddy Buddy

FLOHIO has returned and is better than ever with her new track ‘Cuddy Buddy’. Described as a “fresh chapter” the dynamic record is full of introspective bars and weaves an array of genres including leftfield electronic, rock, hip-hop and grime. Speaking on the record, FLOHIO says: “Have you ever been at a point where you feel your energy being drained, because that was me, I was at a stage where I felt my energy being drained and Cuddy Buddy was me expressing how mentally tired I was. We captured the hook on the first day, but the verses I wanted it to be impactful so I kept coming back to it months after.”

King Princess – Cursed

King Princess has dropped two new tracks ‘Too Bad’ and ‘Cursed’ and we can’t get enough. Taken from her upcoming second album ‘Hold On Baby’, the young talent delivers a dreamy pop-rock sound alongside melancholy lyrics about heartbreak. Speaking on her upcoming record, King Princess says: “I’ve only ever written about heartbreak. It felt easier to talk about myself through other people. To write about situations that caused me pain, and to use them to justify my own anxieties and depression. It finally reached a point where I had to turn the barrel on myself. I’m silly, I’m anxious, I’m sad, I’m sexy. I didn’t want to be scared to talk about those things anymore.”

Abby Roberts – Video Girl

Emerging artist Abby Roberts has released her new single ‘Video Girl’ alongside a compelling video, co-directed by Abby herself. The pop-punk track tackles celebrity culture, idolisation of celebrities and the industry’s hidden imperfections. When writing the track, Abby says: ‘I wrote Video Girl as a way to express to young people like myself who are forever comparing themselves to celebrities and people online, wishing they had the perfect life that those people portray, that the reality of it is not always as it seems. It feels like a conversation with not only my younger self but people who admire me online too.’

Princess Nokia – Diva

Princess Nokia has dropped another confident-inducing record with ‘Diva’. Described as “an ode to her confident self and the women that paved the way for her”, the record shows love to artists like Britney Spears, Aaliyah and her heritage in Puerto Rico’s indigenous Taíno culture.
