Miami based producer and singer MJ Nebreda has shared her brand new single ‘Rottweiler.’ Tapping into a more reggaeton production, the single samples the golden-era Chicago house basslines to create an infectious dance anthem.
Maeve – Can We Just Get High?
London-based singer-songwriter Maeve is back with her catchy new single ‘Can We Just Get High?’. Featuring an intricate production full of messy synthetic sonics crashing and orchestral elements, the record tells the story of falling in love, getting high and bonding with that special someone. Speaking on the track, Maeve says: “I didn’t believe in love, I had never seen one relationship that ever lasted – I knew how it would end. But someone came along and that all changed.”
Khamari – Tell Me
Khamari has returned with his thoughtful new single ‘Tell Me.’ Produced by the LA based artist and Trackside, the new track explores the idea of being vulnerable. ‘Tell Me’ also features an impressive production that includes a showstopping guitar solo by Oscar Brown III. “Tell Me is about that feeling of insecurity you get in a relationship while watching it deteriorate from the inside. Dealing with the vacuum of doubt and confusion that bad communication leaves, but not acting on it because you’re hopeful it’ll work itself out,” Khamari says in a statement.
Yazmin Lacey – Bad Company
East London-based soul singer Yazmin Lacey announces her long-awaited debut album ‘Voice Notes’, with her new single ‘Bad Company’. The forthcoming record was written over the course of two years and is described a “a beautifully personal account exploring Yazmin’s lived experiences.” Her new track ‘Bad Company’ is an example of the emotional storytelling and gives music listeners a sneak peek at the young talent’s incredible artisty. “I like to call her Priscilla, we have a love hate relationship but over the years I’ve started to make peace with her/me. We often want to ignore those ugly parts of ourselves, but there’s something powerful and humbling in acknowledging it, after all she ain’t going anywhere,” Yazmin says in a statement.
spill tab – CRÈME BRÛLÉE!
spill tab delivers a chaotic new single with ‘CRÈME BRÛLÉE!.’ Filled with a larger than life production, the single will leave fans feeling wavy, energised and ready to take on the world. Speaking on the track spill tab explains: “‘CRÈME BRÛLÉE!’ is the result of Solomonophonic and I wanting to make the zazziest song we could. We spent many days tweaking and creating different dynamics, wanting to make it fluid but jarring at the same time. I’m super excited that it’s finally out.”
Ayesha Madon – Fish & Chips
Emerging artist and Heartbreak High star Ayesha Madon shares her brand new single ‘Fish & Chips’. Filled with an R&B pop sound, the track explores anxiety, nostalgia and a desire to escape the stressors of life. “I wrote ‘Fish & Chips’ about a panic attack I had sitting at a lighthouse in Wollongong.” Ayesha shares. “It was near where my family used to camp when I was little and going back there was so painfully nostalgic. I remember sitting on the bench by myself with fish and chips, taking a single deep breath and then crying into it (I like to think it was because the chips lacked salt so I was being resourceful),” Ayesha said in a statement.
