The Aces – Always Get This Way

Alt-pop heroines The Aces have released pop-rock anthem ‘Always Get This Way’, the follow up queer heartbreaker ‘Girls Make Me Wanna Die’. The track boasts retro piano and searing guitar chords as the quartet confront anxiety and mental health in this vulnerable yet confident offering. ‘Always Get This Way’ is a taste of what’s to come, as the band also announce their third studio album, I’ve Loved You For So Long, coming 2nd June.

Ava Lily – Happy Switch

Newcomer Ava Lily triumphs on her brand new single ‘Happy Switch’, baring all as she opens up about sobriety. The singer-songwriter embraces classic R&B on this track, but not without playing with sonics, as thumping beats mimic Lily’s heartbeat. Ava Lily’s one-of-a-kind vocal is the main draw here, as it runs over elegant minor key, speaking poignant lyricism

Matt B – Slow Down

On the alluring ‘Slow Down,’ global artist Matt B showers his dance partner in compliments and encourages them to groove to the undeniably infectious beat. Tiko – Fishy On Me (Remastered)

YouTube creator and artist Tiko celebrates the anniversary of his viral hit ‘Fishy On Me’ after swimming its way into the hearts of his fans three years ago with a new remastered version. Featuring his signature high-pitch vocals, the track is a knee-slapper that’s perfect for your midday pick me up!

Marco Giovanni – Straight Face

On debut single ‘Straight Face,’ Marco Giovanni hypes up his shero and doesn’t hold back. While surrounded by strobing lights in the video to match the track’s playful vibe, Marco reaffirms his partner that emotional security and stability are the foundations to any fruitful relationship. Drew Sycamore – Paradise

Drew Sycamore new track ‘Paradise’ is perfect for fans of pop icon Kylie Minogue. The over-the-top and energetic single is full of infectious synths and groovy 808s that will leave fans dancing all night long. Speaking on the track and her new album ‘Superfaith’ as a whole Drew revealed: “My first albums have been quite heartfelt, and this album has been my escape from having to deal with myself all the time.I have a lot of feelings but I really felt like pouring something else into the world. The world is pretty crazy right now. War and climate crisis. It gave me a desire to only pour joy and happiness into people’s lives. I didn’t wanna write a single negative word, but simply create a magnet for the greatest emotions.”

Eyelar – Think Like A Man

London-based artist Eyelar has released her powerful single ‘Think Like A Man’, and we can’t get enough. The track, which also has an accompanying music video, features the young talent singing about the power play between genders. If you’re in need of an empowering record to inspire you to fight the patriarchy, ‘Think Like A Man’ is the song for you.

Flo Milli – Nasty Dancer

Flo Milli is back and better than ever with her new single ‘Nasty Dancer.’ On the new track, the 22-year-old Alabama born delivers incredible bars that exude confidence while also showcasing her growth as an artist.

Kelela – Enough For Love

Kelela has dropped her final single ‘Enough for Love’ off her forthcoming album RAVEN. Throughout the track, the songstress explores themes of love and “being tough enough” for it. Like her new record, the track also takes a stab at the different layers of vulnerability and surrendering to our feelings.

Alison Goldfrapp & Paul Woolford – Fever

Electronic pop star Alison Goldfrapp has teamed up with legendary house talent Paul Woolford for their euphoric, piano-driven single ‘Fever.’ With its infectious dance-pop sound to Alison’s dreamy vocals, ‘Fever’ is a record that you’ll constantly have on repeat.

Wesley Joseph feat DEAN – SUGAR DIVE

Wesley Joseph has teamed up with DEAN on his new track ‘SUGAR DIVE.’ Mixing their unique styles, the two emerging artists have created an ethereal R&B record that features a Curtis Mayfield-esque sound and a haunting garage beat.

IAMDDB – Where Did The Love Go?

IAMDDB returns on the urban jazz, and RNDM beats laced track ‘W.D.T.L.G.’ Written by IAMDDB the record features an introspective yet feel-good message about believing in oneself. It also touches on working through your emotions and channelling your energy strength to overcome karmic cycles.

Nightbus – Way Past Three

Manchester-based Nightbus are ready to take over the indie music scene with their debut track ‘Way Past Three’. The atmospheric record is full of heavy beats and euphoric synths that will leave music listeners in a dreamy state. Speaking on the track, the band said: “We had this idea of making and creating alternative music that could either be played in the club or perhaps the journey home. Music that soundtracks the highs or even the lows – essentially music for the night time. Those early hours are and can be quite an exposing time, so we think this is the perfect introduction to Nightbus.” The ‘Way Past Three’ video was directed by Nightbus’ Zac, edited by his brother James Melrose and assistant produced by Jake and Olive alongside Ben McFall.“

Hey, Baby – Theatre!

London’s Afropunk princess, Hey, Baby has arrived on the music scene with their debut single ‘Theatre!’. Throughout the uplifting track, the 26-year-old non-binary artist encourages listeners to embrace their emotions while also affirming that it’s okay to “not be okay” all the time. The encouraging mental health message is perfectly executed in the track’s music video. Speaking of the video, Hey, Baby said: “This is me owning the darker parts of myself. I wanted to lean into the messiness of what anxiety feels like and create a visual that represents the internal battles I’ve been through.”
