Spindle Radar: Amelile Is Stepping Onto The International Stage With Confident New Single H.E.L.L.O

Amelile is an emerging talent you need to keep your eye on. Born and raised in Albania, the young talent’s love for music began at a young age, thanks to her family’s passion for the arts. When she was 16 years old, Amelile decided to pursue her music dreams full time by bravely moving to the UK alone. Since that fateful day, the young talent has graced various stages across Europe, including festivals like Kënga Magjike, Junior Eurovision, and Gjeniu i Vogël.

She has also made a name for herself in the fashion world, appearing on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam, becoming the face of Joni Peci, and working with leading designers. With her creativity at an all-time high, Amelile is shifting focus to her music endeavours, working on her debut EP and releasing her new single ‘H.E.L.L.O.’ With warm, sultry vocals layered over crisp, polished production, the track delivers a fresh burst of dance-pop energy just in time for summer. In light of the release of ‘H.E.L.L.O,’ we sat down with Amelile to discuss her creative process for the track, her music inspirations and more. Read our full interview below.

Hello! Amelile, thanks so much for taking the time to speak with us today. How has your week been so far? 

Hello SPI, thank you so much for having me and giving me the opportunity to share my music with a wider audience. The week has been really good so far. I’ve mostly been working on some very exciting new songs, so I’m feeling inspired and motivated! 

Congratulations on the release of ‘H.E.L.L.O’ – it is such an amazing song. How does it feel to be putting out music again after a couple of years away? 

Thank you so much for supporting my new single, it really means a lot. Over the past six years I have spent a lot of time reflecting and growing, and not knowing if I should follow the path of becoming a musician or just leaving it as a passion. But somehow I would always go back to it, and I’ve missed it deeply. During those six years, I wasn’t as consistent as I wanted to be, and I often felt like something was missing, especially after growing up on stage from such a young age. After all this time, I have learned and still continue to learn to love myself and my music more and more, and it feels great to make a comeback. 

I love the title of this track – how did the name come about? 

I was in the studio with my producers, Connor and Trey, and it was actually our first session together. From the moment we met, we clicked, and the vibe was amazing. We just wanted to create something fun, fresh and a bit flirty. ‘H.E.L.L.O’ felt like the perfect name for this new chapter; it’s like opening the door to a new era, both in my life and my music.

The song explores the power of connection – are you hoping to bring people together with this track? 

Absolutely. As an artist, one of my biggest goals is to connect people through shared emotions and experiences. Music has a way of expressing what words sometimes can’t, and I hope ‘H.E.L.L.O’ becomes a good feel anthem that brings people together. It’s also the introduction to my EP Underskin, which is like a musical storybook; every song represents a different time in my life. It’s a journey through my experiences, and I think people will find pieces of themselves in each chapter. 

H.E.L.L.O just makes me want to dance! Was this your intention – could you explain your creative process a bit? 

I love hearing that! The process of creating H.E.L.L.O was so spontaneous. I had just moved to London and was going through a lot of personal changes. I felt overwhelmed, to be honest. One day, I just needed to pause everything, so I went into the studio purely for the joy of making music. What came out of that session was H.E.L.L.O. It was truly joy at first listen. That joy and release that we felt while creating it, I think, comes through in the final track. 

Your previous singles’ Shots’ and ‘Pak Ti Pak Une’ are such great tunes with incredible visuals. What visuals do you have planned to go with H.E.L.L.O? 

Thank you so much! I’m really happy you enjoyed them, I poured a lot of love into both the songs and their visuals. For H.E.L.L.O, I’m working on a series of visualisers that will match the mood and energy of the song. They are a bit more symbolic than full narrative videos, but still emotionally rich and expressive. Each one will represent a different “snapshot” from the world of H.E.L.L.O, giving a deeper visual layer to the song.

You were on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar, which is incredibly cool! How important is fashion to you as a form of self-expression?  

Thank you! Being on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar was such a proud and surreal moment. Fashion has always been a huge part of my life; it’s in my roots. Maybe because of my parents, they work in the fashion industry, so I grew up surrounded by it. I remember watching my mom get dressed when I was little, and she was always so bold and ahead of her time, and she still is. I used to look at her and think, “Wow, I want to be like her!”  Fashion is such a powerful way to express who you are without needing to say a word. It’s the same with music. Both are about emotion, identity, and storytelling—and they’re deeply connected in how I express myself as an artist.

You moved to the UK at quite a young age – how has living in Albania and the UK influenced your sound and artistry?

Yes, I moved to the UK when I was just 16, full of dreams and determination to make it in music. Life took me on a different path for a while, although I couldn’t always focus on music, I used that time to grow and explore other sides of myself, and I earned a degree in architecture. That experience shaped me creatively and personally, and I’m still fighting for my dreams every single day. Living between Albania and the UK has definitely influenced my sound. There are times when I’ve felt like I don’t fully belong anywhere, and that feeling of being “in between” is something I explore in my EP. I know many people can relate to that, and I want to be a voice for them, to let them know they’re not alone. Musically, I try to blend my Balkan roots with UK influences. That cultural and emotional mix creates something unique and true to who I am. 

Who are some of your favourite artists at the moment that are inspiring your music?  

Right now, I’m really inspired by artists who are unapologetically themselves, people like Rosalía, Raye and Billie Eilish. I also love artists who bring a strong visual identity to their work, like FKA twigs. I’m constantly inspired by the way they combine music, visuals, and storytelling to create full experiences. 

You have recently become an independent artist. What are you most looking forward to in this new era? 

I have always been an independent artist, and being one, you have access to both sides of the coin, but I enjoy being independent because it gives me more freedom. I can fully express myself without compromise, and I’m learning more about every part of the process, from the music to the visuals to the business side. It’s empowering. What I’m most looking forward to is building something authentic, connecting with people directly, and growing a community around the music that feels real and personal.

What are some of your goals for the future – where do you hope to be in 5 years?

In five years, I hope to have built a strong and authentic body of work that truly represents who I am as an artist. I want to be performing on stages around the world, connecting with people through music, and continuing to blend cultures and sounds in my own unique way. I’d love to grow not only as a musician but also expand creatively into areas like fashion, visual arts, and storytelling. Most of all, I hope to keep inspiring people to chase their dreams, no matter how long it takes.

Thank you, it’s been such a pleasure! Over the next few months, I’ll be releasing visualisers for H.E.L.L.O and continuing to share more of my story through new music. I’m especially excited about my upcoming EP Underskin, which dives deeper into personal themes of identity, belonging, and emotional growth. It’s a very honest project that reflects everything I’ve felt and experienced in recent years, and I really hope people connect with it. I’ve poured my heart into every track, and I can’t wait for everyone to hear it.
